According to studies as reported by Energy Star, windows in heating-dominated climates account for up to 25 percent of a typical house’s heating load and that in cooling-dominated climates, windows account for up to 50 percent of the cooling load. With new technologies and performance standards, windows have changed significantly over the years.

In recent years, many technological advances have been made that significantly enhance the thermal performance of windows. These technologies include improved framing materials, low-emissivity and solar control coatings, low-conductance gas fills, improved thermal breaks and edge spacers, and better edge sealing techniques. These technologies can be used independently or in combination, but must be selected based on climate to optimize performance. Sierra Window Concepts offers efficient and beautiful aluminum windows for new construction and retrofit replacement window applications. All of our windows come standard with Lo E glass and marine glazed panels for added energy efficiency and that will improve your savings over the years. Our windows hold the heat inside your home during the winter months and keep the heat outside during the summertime.

SWC aluminum replacement indows have adjustable brass rollers and recessed pull rail for an extra smooth movement of the window. In addition, they come with heavy duty weather stripping which keeps the weather outside where it belongs and they have a thermal break in both the frame and the sash.

SWC aluminum windows are vailable in dark brown, bronze, beige, white, black, silver, red and green.
